A league source said Delhomme was scheduled to visit the Browns on Thursday, the strongest evidence yet that the Browns are considering moving forward without Quinn.

Cleveland has offered Quinn to other teams, league sources said Wednesday. Not only are the Browns looking into trading Quinn, but they also are investigating other quarterback options as well.

The Browns are exploring the acquisition of another quarterback through trade, free agency or the draft, according to multiple league sources. These talks come at a time when Cleveland already has added former Seattle backup Seneca Wallace.

Should one of these scenarios for another quarterback work out as expected, then Cleveland would have a surplus of quarterbacks, including Wallace and Brett Ratliff. That would leave little room for Quinn, a former first-round draft pick out of Notre Dame who has struggled to succeed in Cleveland.

There are two good reasons that Miami should trade their 2nd for Quinn:

1. Tradition

2. It would be closure for the masses of Dolphin fans who hate Ted Ginn because he was drafted instead of Quinn.

… the Dolphins are lately showing they do not have clear vision about what some fans, the rest of the NFL, the NFLPA, the media, or their alumni are thinking. They seem to be somewhat out of touch in that regard.

Some might say that there are now THREE reasons to trade for Quinn.

This story brings the question,

As things stand today, who would you rather have on the Dolphins team, Ted Ginn and his family or Brady Quinn?

The real question is this......  If the Browns just got rid of Derek Anderson and are trying to get rid of Brady Quinn, then where does that leave them QB wise??

It leaves them in the same situation they were in last year ... a team without a starting caliber QB.

Perhaps both Holmgren and Mangini are looking to be reunited with Favre?

How about neither? Personally I wanted Patrick Willis with that pick, but it is what it is. However our situation being what it is, and the fact I like what Henne shown so far, I'm glad we didn't go with Quinn. Besides with Cam running the show, he would've destroyed Quinn just like he did with Beck.

If I was Favre, I'd stay in Minnesota.  That's his best shot at a ring.  I believe the Browns pick 7th in the draft.  That should be good enough to get either Jimmy Claussen or Sam Bradford.
